WebbBoth the original Sharps Rifle Company .50-70 (1) and a Remington-UMC .50-70 (2) have 450-grain bullets. Mike’s handloads include a (3) Lyman 515141 bullet and a (4) RCBS 50-450-FN bullet. Remington only chambered for one .50 cartridge. That was the .50 with a 1.75-inch case length, otherwise known as the .50-70.
