Mine actually got hung in gear 3 times and I had to kill the machine because you couldn't even stop it with the brake, it was locked in gear and would just keep going. Were also having issues with the throttle body not being able to read 100% when floored if anyone has a solution for that as well. This is a buddies truck that was having map sensor issues, but we fixed that by swapping to an LS9 setup and scaling it correctly.

WebDec 16, 2005 · Kawasaki has a positive neutral finder. When the bike is sitting still the transmission usually will only shift from 1st to neutral, or neutral to 1st. If it won't shift past neutral while moving....you might have a clutch issue, since the only thing you mention changing is the handlebars. Sorry I couldn't be of much help. If you can change gears the problem might be clutch linkages. If you can not change gears, then the problem might be shift forks or stem rod or linkages.
