WebFLARM (an acronym based on 'flight alarm') is the proprietary name for an electronic device which is in use as a means of alerting pilots of small aircraft, particularly gliders, to potential collisions with other aircraft which are similarly equipped. WebFLARM is the traffic awareness and collision avoidance technology for General Aviation, light aircraft, and UAVs. With FLARM installed, you are alerted of both traffic and imminent collisions with other aircraft, so you can take action before it is too late.
